After a long search for a design agency that could combine in-depth knowledge of ecologic principles with expertise in interpretive sign development, we were so lucky to find LVBrown Studio for our signage project. Lauren is a rare mix of natural resource manager, landscape architect and creative designer – perfect for creating compelling, educational, and beautiful trail signage! 

Oconomowoc Watershed Protection Program

Lauren’s artistic abilities in combination with her graphic design intuition was the most crucial component for our project development. We hired Lauren to create our interpretive signs for our interactive watershed tour, the product she created was beyond what we could have imagined. She became familiar with our region and our project like it was her own. We will be using LVBrown Studio again!

Colorado River Land Trust, Dripping Springs, Texas

Lauren demonstrated an unparalleled attention to detail in the creation of 13 interpretive signs and one large welcome sign for our popular forest preserve. Superior Bio Conservancy

Few people have the gift to draw beautiful illustrations that effectively communicate ideas, fewer still can illustrate a deep understanding of nature’s processes. As executive director of the Cedar Lakes Conservation Foundation (CLCF) land trust, I worked with LVBrown Studio on the Joan Pick Nature Preserve masterplan. Lauren researched the legacy parcel and creatively coordinated a planning process with Cedar Lakes stakeholders that identified key themes and ideas for the community. As a restoration ecologist, she combined her imagination and design skills to professionally illustrate the potential future of the Preserve. 

Friends of Lake Kegonsa Society

Lake Kegonsa’s health is directly related to the water quality of its tributaries, including Door Creek. FOLKS work closely with Dane County Land and Water Resources Department to help residents understand and appreciate the value the natural resources in their watershed. The Door Creek Watershed kiosk signage that Lauren designed for Dane County’s Fish Camp County Park helps us achieve those goals.  It’s a beautiful and informative kiosk!

Wolf Run Association, Mazomanie, WI

Lauren is an extremely creative, talented, and knowledgeable watershed design planner that was instrumental in the success of our recent Wolf Run Trail project. Her conceptual plans, informational signage work, team building, and design presentation skills were outstanding and gave our project a very professional touch. She delivered the work on time and stayed within her cost estimates. Plus, she’s an absolute joy to work with.
