LVB developed conceptual design plans to help a private landowner visualize access and improvements within their residential floodplain along the Arkansas River in Colorado. The project included modifications to the riverbank and instream features to improve angling opportunities and boating and swimming access. Earthwork items included removing a relic berm and transforming an artificial pond into a diverse wetland feature.
LVB provided landscape architectural concept planning for site circulation opportunities and illustrated suitable areas for the client-desired program, such as seating overlooks, gardens, and a family river camp.
