Erickson Conservation Area Kiosk Signage
Argyle, WI
Client: Driftless Area Land Conservancy
Alex and Mary Erickson desired for their unique floodplain property to become a community treasure enjoyed by all. So they decided to protect 220-acres of their family land in perpetuity via conservation easement managed and maintained by the Driftless Area Land Conservancy. The property is open to the public year-round as the Erickson Conservation Area.
The land trust engaged LVB to design a trail map and kiosk signage to welcome visitors to the site and inform them of what lies within. Visitors can hike and cross-country ski through prairie and oak savanna, bird-watch in the Conservation Area’s abundant wetlands, and hunt, trap, and fish along the Pecatonica River.
