Resilient Crossings Handbook
Client: Fourmile Watershed Coalition
Team Lead: Inter-Fluve Inc.
Front Range, CO | 2017
LVBrown Studio worked collaboratively with river restoration firm Inter-Fluve Inc. to illustrate and format an image-rich handbook for Colorado property owners impacted by the devastating Front Range floods of 2013. The goal was to provide an approachable resource to educate and empower landowners to rebuild their bridge and stream crossings with confidence.
Lauren’s project role was to translate watershed processes, technical engineering data, and overarching watershed resiliency goals into a clear and visually-rich document. The resource is used widely throughout Colorado as a planning tool for landowners to engage with watershed managers, engineers, and contractors.
